The former Restoration Hardware building makes a wonderful setting for a stunning array of handmade and vintage gifts, decor and items for holiday entertaining -- everything you need, all in one convenient stop. Ho-ho-ho, NO?

We get it -- it's still not even Halloween, let alone Thanksgiving, and we're already talking about Christmas. Not to mention the fact that no one has yet to recover from last winter before being faced with this one. But ready or not, here it comes. So we decided to go on the offensive and signed up to sponsor two kids -- both 10 to 14, one boy, one girl -- through Operation Christmas Child. You're invited to join us! Here's the scoop: items must be small enough to fit into the shoeboxes shown. Suggested are toys, school supplies, non-liquid hygiene products and personal accessories such as socks, hats, flip-flops. No-gos include food, liquids, breakables and "war-related" items. If you'd like to help out, please bring your contribution to next weekend's Kane County (IL) Flea Market. We'll be sure it gets included by the deadline. Wow, we've sure used this Michigan map photo a lot over the summer! And we are back in the mitten this weekend, headed for the Michigan Antique Festival in Davisburg, near Ann Arbor. The show is brought to you by the same promoters who do the Midland show, one of Michigan's oldest antique markets. Third Sunday Market

In keeping with this year's theme -- All Things New Again -- we will make our first trip to the THIRD SUNDAY MARKET this weekend in Bloomington, IL. This is a sentimental fav for me -- used to shop it all the time with my mother-in-law back when I still called Chicagoland home. I always went away with a van full of treasures -- the shopping is awesome! So make plans to join us this Sunday, May 18, 8 am to 4 pm, at the Interstate Center, 2301 W. Market St. We'll make sure YOU go home with a van full of treasures! Check Facebook tomorrow for photos of  just a few of the finds that are coming. Double-Header This Weekend!

We are so excited to be joining more than 60 hand-picked vendors this Saturday, May 10,  for the opener of a brand new show -- the Urban Farmgirl's Main Street Market. Located in Rockford, IL, on the beautiful grounds of the Midway Village Museum, this show will be packed full of fabulous vintage merchandise and handmades. The weather is supposed to be fabulous -- come join us! Show hours are 10 to 5. The museum is located at 6799 Guilford Road; admission $8. Washington Street Market -- Naperville, Illinois

We are thrilled to be once again participating in the Washington Street Market, which is this weekend in downtown Naperville, Illinois! Show hours are Friday, April 11, 5:30 to 9 pm; Saturday, April 12, 9 am to 9 pm; Sunday, April 13, 10 am to 4 pm. The Market is located in the old Restoration Hardware building, 47 E. Chicago Ave (enter on Washington Street next to Barnes and Noble).

The winter market was absolutely gorgeous -- the setting allows vendors to set up vignette after vignette of gorgeous merchandise. Can't wait to see what everyone has for the spring event.
